This song starts with great vocal distortions that steadily build into her gorgeous voice and some lovely lyrics. Gradually a wibbity-wop-wop builds in the background, and then at the minute mark the lovely-- somehow both pounding and beautiful--chorus drops in. Thirty seconds later, it lovingly transitions back into her softness, then right away builds again into the chorus (which I just can't get enough of!). At 2:40 it gets all beautiful again for just long enough, then builds to its most dramatic and takes you on the roller-coaster ride of a chorus ONE MORE TIME! The little swirling synths behind her haunting voice at the end drive it home for me: Ellie Goulding is a goddess. Please, please put this on loud, proud, and once again, loud. Enjoy!
