Anyway, Hey Marseilles have a distinct and marvelous sound whose beauty is unparalleled! Their new album Lines We Trace came out this tuesday, and my lovely sister was lucky enough to see them live last night! Apparently the frontman tragically lost his voice, but they're one of those bands possessed of such unmatched fervor and poignancy that even a purely instrumental set was a thing of magic...or so I hear! Two gorgeous albums now under their belts and the guarantee to only expand from here on out, Hey Marseilles is off da chain!
Within their cover of Daniel Johnston's 'True Love Will Find You In The End', Hey Marseilles finds a place of such...ahhh...I can't describe it! Hope and love and faith and joy and sadness and wowza! Great cover! And all live!? These guys blow me away! Enjoy!
One of the hot songs off their new album, 'Elegy' is so tender and lovely! The "nah nah nahhh...oho" in the background is DA BOMB! Check it!
