STRFKR: Hungry Hearts

These guys flipping (or should I say Starfu%#in') know how to put on a show! From a wild light show to people in skeleton, panda, and vegetable costumes mobbing the stage and dancing their asses off amidst falling balloons, it was an experience! What I was expecting to be slow and hipster turned out to be raging, pulsating and full of energy that I honestly don't think I've seen paralleled! It was epic! If you're a longtime fan, listen to their songs with new ears knowing the live show is louder than hell, and if you're new to their greatness, engulf yourself within their unique sound!

First off, some old classics that they made sound so fresh!!!!!! This one live was sick!

'Bury Us Alive' was bumpin'!

One of my personal favorites, STRFKR's cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Hungry Heart' is wonderful (besides the first 23 seconds...those are kind of painful, skip ahead and enjoy)!.

Cuts off their new album were equally awesome:

And one of the last songs they played to top it all off, is just so great. The crowd went wild.

And if you're REALLY dedicated, here are some videos I took at the show. Shaky at best, fuzzy, and far away, they barely come close to capturing the fun that was had, but you get an idea of the sheer electric energy of the place!
