A classic for the ages. With angelic voices, a tender sense of humor, and the talent to go onstage and play on Saturday Night Live (a rough venue to sound good in) and perform with just their voices, their guitars and their hearts on their sleeves, Simon & Garfunkel knew their stuff.
Their musics' soft, gentle quality is so reassuring and peaceful, reminding me of a Japanese Tea Garden, or a certain James Carrol quote:
“There are times when we stop, we sit still. We listen and breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper.”
